The photographic journey of Mercer, Wis., resident Aline Fetter began years ago when she worked in advertising, supervising various types of photo shoots and reviewing thousands of photographs in a quest to perfectly match a strong visual narrative with a product’s message. This experience trained her eye and shaped her perspective as she learned the essence of photographic composition.
It also prompted her to pick up a camera herself and go back to school for formal training. While earning her associates degree in photography, she worked at the college’s photography lab assisting students develop and print photographs in both mediums – digital and film.
At this time she started venturing into the Northwoods to capture images of her favorite subject – Nature.
Inspired by her passion for nature, Aline focuses on capturing its ever-changing kaleidoscope of colors, unique patterns, rich textures and an abundance of flora and fauna. From subtle beauty and reflective moods to exuberant scenes and lively moments, she uses her camera to celebrate nature as it is written in light.
