Tim Lutgen is a retired Registered Pharmacist who began to learn woodworking under the guidance of his grandfather (master craftsman of church altars and crosses) in 1962. Although Tim did not choose Fine Woodworking as his primary career, he has experience in building bedroom sets, dining tables and chairs, end-tables, bookcases, and miscellaneous artistic projects. Tim studied under Tom Gallenberg (Part-time Instructor at NTC), who is a renowned master craftsman of Greene & Greene and Gustav Stickley design and construction techniques. Tim is now retired, living in Mercer, and enjoys designing and building his own furniture and artistic creations.
