  3. Cindi Stiles

Cindi Stiles is a Registered Professional Archaeologist, with a Master’s Degree in Anthropology/Archaeology and over 40 years experience in the profession. While she has led projects throughout the Midwest and Plains states, most of her professional life has been in Wisconsin working primarily with state, federal, and tribal agencies. She researched the government boarding school era for Lac du Flambeau Tribal Historic Preservation Office, and the government farmer and allotment policies for the Bad River Tribal Historic Preservation Office. Both of these projects resulted in National Register of Historic Places nominations. She was employed by the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Historic Preservation Office before retiring from the position in 2020. She is currently a semi-retired private archaeological consultant.
