Michelle Willes, originally from Wisconsin, moved to upper Michigan 6 years ago to pursue a career in cannabis. After being a caregiver primarily focusing on outdoor organic growing, she started to transition into the retail side of the cannabis industry. She attended Green Flower Cannabis College supported through Northern Michigan University, and has been focusing on learning and sharing the benefits of cannabis ever since!
She joined the company Rize on the first day they opened and has been working as a retail manager and corporate trainer. Rize is a woman-owned company that has expanded their one-of-a-kind cultivation facility to four current Michigan dispensary locations in Marquette, Iron Mountain, Ironwood and Menominee.
