Mary Burns, is a naturalist, fiber artist, and author. She expresses her love of northern woodlands and waters in her weavings and writings. An award-winning weaver, she is known for her unique hand-jacquard portraits and landscape pieces. Mary also does natural dyeing and eco-printing with Hazel Eyes Textiles, as well as felting, tapestry and (in the past) her rug-weight pieces.
