Dr. Gary Sanders holds a B.A. degree in Physics from Columbia and a Ph.D. degree in particle physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has worked as an experimental physicist and manager of very large scientific projects in high-energy physics, gravitational wave physics, optical/infrared astronomy and big bang physics using the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) while at Princeton, Los Alamos, Caltech and now supported by the Simons Foundation for the Simons Observatory.
