Dr. Chenin Limback is a Biology Instructor at Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, Mich., specializing in general and organismal biology. Originally a native of the southeastern Lower Peninsula of Michigan, she was excited to move to the Upper Peninsula in 2018 and enjoys living in and exploring the Northwoods and Lake Superior. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Adrian College in 2007, her Master of Science in Entomology from Michigan State University in 2010, and her PhD in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont in 2016. She enjoys educating others about the fascinating aspects of science, biology, and the insect world. She is also an avid tarantula hobbyist, caring for up to 50 spiders from various parts of the world. In her free time, she enjoys both outdoor and indoor activities such as hiking, swimming, reading, and video games, as well as spending quality time with her husband and cat.
