Anne Small has been the coordinator of the Northstate Mycological Club for over 20 years, leading weekly forays and educational fungi classes each year. Collecting and eating mushrooms has been a part of her life since she was a little girl. Her mother, Cora Mollen, authored the book Fascinating Fungi of the Northwoods, and shared her expertise with Anne over the years. Anne studied mycology in college and she earned a M.S. in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Maine. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of the amazing fungal world with students both young and old.
