Winter Trees and Teas Workshop

This class will take place March 8, 10:00a.m.-Noon, at the North Lakeland Discovery Center.
Join the North Lakeland Discovery Center program staff Hannah Gargrave and Jamie Van for this fun and informative workshop! The program will start inside by learning how to identify trees and shrubs during the winter season by looking at twig structure and buds. We will then venture out on the Discovery Center trails to put our new ID skills to use. The workshop will end with harvesting, creating and sipping different green-needle teas. You will also make a small balsam fir sachet to take home. Please bring proper gear to venture outside (dress in layers, snowshoes, etc).
This class is limited to 15.
