Still Learning 6: Matters of the Inner Being – An Examination of Spirituality Across the Lifespan

This course will take place on January 16 and 23, 2025, in Mercer, 1:00-3:00 p.m., with Martha Pierpont and Rev. Erv Teichmiller.

This interactive class will provide attendees the opportunity to explore the concept of spirituality and its role throughout the lifespan:

•  Examine the spirit within us. What makes us spiritual beings?
•  The definition of spirituality: explore its nature and mystery, share our understanding of spirituality.
• How do we perceive “self” and transition from “me” to “they.”
• Explore what spirituality has meant in your life and its evolution throughout your lifetime.
•. Brief history and discussion of spirituality and religion.

The course will be given in two sessions, each 120 minutes long, at the Mercer Public Library. There are no prerequisites for taking this class.

We recommend signing up at least two weeks ahead of class to ensure class fills and to prevent cancellation.

This course is limited to 15 students.

Student Cancellations: If a registered student cancels, registration can be refunded if requested 4 or more days before the course’s start date. We’re afraid cancellation requests made 3 or fewer days before the course’s start date are unable to be refunded.
