Still Learning 4: Our Amazing Boomer Bodies

This course will take place on November 12 and 19 in Mercer, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., with Peggy Bronsberg.
Participants will learn about some of the remarkable processes going on in the human body which nourish and sustain life as we age and how our choices concerning nutrition, exercise, rest, and stress management can support our ability to live long and well.
The course will be given in two sessions, each 120 minutes long, and will cover the following topics: Nutrition, exercise, fall risk reduction, mental health, substance use/abuse, sleep, stress, vaccinations and other preventive health care matters.
There will be no prerequisites for taking this class. No presentations required of students. Optional readings.

A course with less than 4 students 2 weeks before the start date may be cancelled at instructor/FeU discretion, with students’ registrations refunded. Student Cancellations: If a registered student cancels, registration can be refunded if requested 4 or more days before the course’s start date. We’re afraid cancellation requests made 3 or fewer days before the course’s start date are unable to be refunded.
