Northwoods Logging and Forestry, and Its Impact on Area Industry and History

$30.00 – $35.00This course will take place on Wednesdays, Feb. 5, 19, and 26, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at the Mercer Community Center, with Kerry Bloedorn.
Class will explore how the area’s glacial history was key to the development of the forest, and led to the logging boom, railroads, Civilian Conservation Corps, paper mills, the birth of Wisconsin forestry, and to today’s modern logging.
