Intermediate Guitar II
This course will take place on Wednesdays, April 22, 29, May 6 and 13, 2026, Noon-1:30 p.m. at the Mercer Community Center, with Don Dugan.
Rather than focusing on theory and isolated techniques, this course–a follow-up to Fe University’s “Intermediate Guitar” course with Don Dugan in October 2025–will consist of application of technique to 6-8 classic songs. Works of the Eagles, Dylan, Willie Nelson, etc. will be featured.
Instructor Don Dugan of Mercer has been playing guitar for 50+ years. He has learned through some formal lessons, but is mostly self taught. He has played more than 500 gigs over the last 15 years, from bars to churches to private parties.
Student prerequisites: Basic grasp of strumming, tuning, open position chords and notes, basic music theory, and a desire to play better are all that’s required!
This class is limited to 10 students.

Course Cancellations: Students are encouraged to register at least 2 weeks before the beginning of any Fe University course. A course with less than 4 students 2 weeks before the start date may be cancelled at instructor/FeU discretion, with students’ registrations refunded. If you’re interested in a class, please sign up early! Thank you.
Student Cancellations: If a registered student cancels, registration can be refunded if requested 4 or more days before the course’s start date. We’re afraid cancellation requests made 3 or fewer days before the course’s start date are unable to be refunded.
