This Fe University offering is intended to enhance students’ musical sensitivity and awareness through guided group listening. Using a wide variety of genres, we will explore many musical examples with the goal of raising the listener’s awareness for an enriching experience.
Did you know that Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys) and Paul McCartney (The Beatles) have both paid homage to J.S. Bach for major hit songs they’ve written over the years?…Not obscure tunes but songs everyone knows?
Check out the Fe University short course EAR-OBICS to learn AND hear the stories behind these little known facts. You will hear for yourself connections few (if any) people make as we enjoy learning and listening to a wide variety of musical styles.
