A Look Back at 2021
2021 began with a virtual world: our winter and early spring classes were offered almost exclusively online, except for Cross-Country Skiing with Chad McGrath. We even offered an online yoga class with Amanda Easter! As the year advanced, we were able to meet in person once again, heading out for field trips with Zach Wilson and John Bates, and gathering together to make music with Rusty Wulff.
Our fall classes saw a slow transition back to Zoom, and our students learned about everything from the origins of the Bill of Rights (with Sam Filippo) to the National Football League (in person with Greg Blache)! Not to mention US foreign aid with Gary Theisen–in-person, with everyone masked and vaccinated. As we look forward into 2022, we see ourselves continuing our mission of bringing a wide variety of accessible classes to our rural area. We hope you’ll join us.
