Location:  Room 430, Hurley School, 5503 West Range View Dr., Hurley, WI

Course fee:  $30 with a $5 discount if registered by Oct. 10th

Objectives: This class will examine the foundation of hate and bigotry which culminated in Nazi Germany’s creation of the Final Solution.  It is unfortunate to consider that rational thought can explain man’s inhumanity to man but that is what the class will try to discover by focusing on the lengths that one group would go to establish a new world order or Third Reich.

Course structure:  The course will be given in _4__ sessions, each _120__ minutes long, covering the following topics:

Requirements: No prerequisites. Some readings may be offered.

Instructor: Chris Kelly is in his 31st year of teaching U.S. History in the Hurley School District.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History as well as 35 graduate credits in U.S. History. He is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the History honors society. Chris also holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration.  

Chris has been active with local theatre groups as both a performer and a director as well as a member of the Chamber Singers.

Chris is married to Ricky and they have six children.
